PRS Geo Technologies is an Israel‑based company specialising in advanced geotechnical solutions and products for infrastructure, engineering, and construction projects. Their offerings include cellular confinement systems, geocells, and other performance‑based geotechnical materials used across sectors such as railways, airports, retaining walls, and erosion control. With a global footprint, PRS supports industries that require durable, scalable, and innovative ground engineering technologies.

Brief & Objectives

The client required a complete redevelopment of their outdated website, which had been in use for nearly eight years and was showing signs of technical wear. The brief called for a fresh WordPress installation on a new .com domain, with a modern Hello Elementor theme to improve usability, scalability, and backend management. Objectives included enhancing user navigation, ensuring mobile responsiveness, optimising SEO performance, and supporting future multilingual scalability. Phase 1 focused on building two localised landing pages in Portuguese and Spanish, with Phase 2 planned for full multilingual subfolders.

Challenges & Strategy

The main challenges were the outdated theme, poor technical health, and SEO risks associated with migration.

To address this we proposed a streamlined approach: rebuilding the site with a simplified architecture, implementing SEO best practices, and creating localised landing pages rather than full multilingual subfolders at the outset. This strategy balanced cost‑effectiveness with user experience, reduced technical overhead, and ensured crawl efficiency while mitigating risks of traffic drops during migration.

How We helped

RubyWeb set up the new WordPress environment, migrated 39 service pages, 10 blogs, and 10 case studies, and developed two localized landing pages. Technical integrations included GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Salesforce CRM, and compliance features such as GDPR/POPI pop‑ups. SEO migration was carefully handled with pre‑, mid‑, and post‑migration checklists, including metadata transfer, redirection plans, XML sitemap updates, and performance benchmarking. We also provided structured project management, user acceptance testing, and post‑launch support to ensure a smooth transition.

Results

The redevelopment delivered a modern, high‑performance website aligned with PRS’s brand and technical requirements. The addition of localised landing pages enabled PRS to better target Portuguese and Spanish‑speaking markets, supporting lead generation in key regions. With a scalable architecture, the new site is positioned for future multilingual expansion and ongoing SEO optimisation.
